Nicknamed "The Great White Shark" Greg Norman began playing the game of golf at the age of seventeen,
embarking on a meteoric career that was to take him to the number one position of world golfers.
He turned professional in 1976 and in his fourth tournament he won the West Lakes Classic in Australia.
After playing only six professional tournaments he was selected to play for Australia in the World Cup.
Greg Norman's talent is not only in being a straight hitter, sending the golf ball vast distances,
but is also considered to be one of the games most remarkable putters.
