Parkland
Course - 10 Hole - Par 66
Overlooking the Clwyd Valley and Hills
you can enjoy the benefits
of fascinating golf in an entrancing setting.
To find Ruthin-Pwllglas Golf Club head south out of Ruthin to the
village of Pwllglas.
Take your courage in your hands and turn right up one of the narrow
roads leading to Efenechtyd.
If you reach this hamlet you have missed the golf course which has
a sharp right turn
off the road you were probable on. Persevere! It is worth the effort
to find the club.
During the Second World War the clubhouse became an officer's mess
and it does not surprise
the visitor to learn that for many years this was one of the best
clubhouses for miles around.
The outlook from the bar over a large part of the golf course and
to the hills for
miles beyond is to be savoured. Offering 10
holes with 5262 yards and a Par 66
Ruthin-Pwllglas Golf Club is, in short, a little jewel.
