Parkand Course - 18 Hole - Par 70
A
tough test for all handicaps at the long stablished Worlebury
Golf Club.
Founded in 1908 by Henry Butt, a local philanthropist, with a
group of like minded
prominent businessmen who kindly donated in their shares in 1972
which makes this club one of the few in the area that own its
own course.
Playing at Worlebury introduces you to a haven of peace and tranquility
in the countryside.
Yet it is easy to forget you are just two miles from the throbbing
M5 motorway.
This traditional parkland course offers all the challenges of
golf in a hilly terrain -
with an excellent mix of holes providing a stiff challenge to
both low and high handicappers.
There are a number of demanding holes and even though there are
no water hazards to
worry about , there is one thing that you will have to overcome
- the blustery wind.
After you have finished testing your skills against this picturesque
course,
Worlebury has an excellent social itinerary.
