Woodland Course - 18 Hole - Par 70
Take undulating Lancashire countryside, extensive native woodland belts, complimented
by scenic views to the Pennines.
Add 18 holes of golf, 9 in parkland, 9 in woodland,
with strategically positioned bunkers, trees and natural water features.
Mix in an
excellent modern clubhouse, run on a friendly and welcoming basis and you have the
recipe for Standish Court - a modern golf club with a distinctive difference.
The 18 holes of golf, designed by Tyton Design, provide one of the more intriguing
rounds of golf in the region. Creating a challenging test of golf for the low handicapped
and an enjoyable game for the high handicapper.
The trees and greens were built to
an exacting specification thereby ensuring excellent playing surfaces all year round.
To
help prepare for the round ahead, visitors have use of our extensive practice ground
and large putting green.
The attractive purpose built club house provides men's and
women's changing rooms, spikes and lounge bar and Hogan's Bistro offers a wide range
of food throughout the day, 7 days a week. With the restaurant serving from the Table
d'hôte menu most evenings. The bar always has at least one real ale on tap.
