Parkland Course - 18 Hole - Par 70
Kendal Golf Club proudly celebrated
its centenary in 1991 and indeed has now been at its present location
for over 100 years,
From its elevated position overlooking the historic old market town
of Kendal the
panoramic views which unfurl as one plays the course are quite breathtaking.
From the East you can see the splendour of the Westmorland Fells and
beyond to the Yorkshire Dales.
While viewing from the north to west the full majesty of the Lake
District mountains and
valleys open up, before later looking southward towards Morecambe
Bay and the Lancashire plain.
The northern reaches of the course are within the Lake District National
Park.
The course has an excellent reputation for the fine standard of its
greens and fairways
and the limestone drainage ensures the course is playable all year
round.
There are holes which due to their character and distinctiveness provide
challenge for the most proficient or the higher handicap golfer.
There are comprehensive locker and shower room facilities within the
clubhouse.
The Club offers a warm welcome to visitors from OUT TO PLAY GOLF and
can offer packages to suit you or your party.
