Woodland Course - 18 Hole - Par 70
The Course
is played over downland, and although hole 3 does have a short
sharp hill,
all other fairways are undulating with easy walking.
Four holes are also played within the Ashley Wood, an ancient
woodland which is
carpeted with bluebells during May. A number of holes are played
over and around Buzbury Rings,
an ancient Hill Fort with wonderful views over the Stour and Tarrant
valleys.
The course is 6276 yards long, and with some 'open' drives and
some holes needing accuracy,
it is a good test of golf skills for all levels of ability.
Being natural chalk downland, the course drains very quickly,
and remains playable in all but the most extreme weather.
The Clubhouse with changing room and showers.
The Bar :open 11.00am everyday until after sunset.
