FALMOUTH area
Falmouth is Cornwalls largest port with waterfront, quays and piers

that border the sweep of the estuary. Shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants are linked to them by narrow alleyways. In the area are fine sheltered beaches along the southern shores of Pendennis Port, and there are great family beaches at Gyllyngvase, Swanpool,

Castle and Menenporth.

HELSTON area
Helston is one of the ancient coinage towns of Cornwall and although it is perhaps the least changed of all Cornish towns it manages to provide the facilities of a modern town with shops, pubs, restaurants, a sports club, and boating lake whilst retaining a dignified air.

Famous for the ‘ Furry ’ or Floral Dance held in May when there is a carnival atmosphere as the main street is thronged with dancers

and thousands of visitors. Helston is a good centre to visit the attractions of the Lizard peninsula. Ideal walking country with attractive small coves.
