BUDE / WIDEMOUTH BAY area
Bude, was once a busy port with canal is a coastal resot which boasts
fine sandy beaches, rock pools, tidal swimming pool, good shopping centre and restaurants.
Widemouth Bay lies about 3 miles south of Bude and is an area unspoiled by commercialisation. Offering visitors an award winning, mile long fine sandy beach with an abundance of rock pools. Well known for its surfing

 


BOSCASTLE & TINTAGEL area

Boscastle is an entrancing north coast harbour with a 16th century quay and 14th century cottages clinging to hillside above fast flowing water.
Tintagel - the legendary birthplace of King Arthur with all the
myths and legends that surround it is set on a rugged and dramatic coastline.


BODMIN MOOR area

Bodmin area is a mixture of craggy tors and county towns.
Bodmin Moor is an untamed world but as wisps of mist curl around stone circles, wild ponies graze on the wind shaped tors and in the moorland villages you will find a welcoming oasis.


LAUNCESTON area
Once the capital of Cornwall this 12th Century walled town is mentioned in the Doomsday Book. Its narrow thoroughfares and market square are lined with elegant Georgian houses and the 14th Century church of St Mary Magdalene is a must with its intricately carved stone. Once described as the most interesting inland town in Cornwall it now boasts attractions such as Lawrence House Museum, Hidden Valley, Trethorne Leisue Park and Leisure Centre.


PADSTOW & WADEBRIDGE area
Padstow is built on a hillside overlooking Camel Estuary it is a busy
 harbour fringed with many intact medieval buildings. With fine beaches at St. George's Well and Trevone Bay and the Camel Trail which follows the former railway line.
Wadebridge is a market town with the Victorian rail link to Padstow and Bodmin now the 12 mile waterside Camel Trail for walking and cycling.


PORT ISAAC area

Port Isaac is made up of narrow twisting streets with geranium-filled
alleys (drang's) and fish cellars. You will find a small beach and a fishing harbour which dates back to the Middle Ages.

A fine church can be found and twice yearly there is a music festival at nearby St. Endellion. Nearby is Long Cross Victorian Gardens

 


NEWQUAY area

A resort for all seasons which offers the traditional seaside holiday.

The surfing capital of Britain with Fistral beach at its heart. Endowed with 10 other glorious beaches which, although more sheltered, are no less scenic and are perfect for laid-back activities such as cliff walking, bird watching and with numerous courses within the easy reach golf is an attractive pastime.
